He was the son of William Armstrong and Helen Alice (George) Holloway. He and Alice's children: Thomas, Helen [Marshall], Betty [Gallie], Mary Holloway, Valerie Warren-Fernandez and William "Bill".

Military: S/Sgt. William F. Holloway, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Holloway, Haywood, OK. Attended Haywood High School. Entered Army in 1941. Trained at Camp Roberts, California. Served in AP. Awarded Dist. Unit Badge, GCM, AP Ribbon and 2 Battle Stars. Discharged in 1945.
