Heidi Blanton Smith, 60, of Inman, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Regional Hospice Home. She was the wife of George O. “Butch” Smith.
A native of Cliffside, NC; daughter of the late William Robert Blanton and Vennie Rozell Bingham Blanton.
Retired textile employee, a life member of the DAV Auxiliary, and was of the Baptist faith.
Also survived by sons, Johnny Cooper, Chris Padgett (Nathan), and Robert Smith (Laura); daughters, Destiny Cooper, Emily Cooper, and Stephanie Tennyson (Jimmy); seven grandchildren; brothers, Bill Blanton, Horace Blanton, Cleo Blanton (Marceline), Lawrence Blanton (Rhonda); sisters, Sharon Walker (Larry), Julie Dover (William); special nephew, David Powell; many special friends; and beloved pets, Maggie, Sebastian, and Miles.
Predeceased by sisters, Catherine Blanton (1941–2018) and Martha Jane Blanton Shelton (1943–2006); and brother, Jimmie Lewis Blanton (1949–2020).
Visitation held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
Memorial service followed at 2:00 PM in the funeral chapel officiated by Mr. Joe Floyd.
