James "Jimmy" Schwartz, Jr.
October 25, 1957 - September 30, 2020

James "Jimmy"Richard Schwartz, Jr., 62, passed away Wednesday night, September 30, 2020, at Brian Center Rehab & Nursing Center in Eden.

Born October 25, 1957 in Eden, NC, Jimmy was the son of the late James Richard Schwartz and Naomi Murphy Schwartz.

He was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1976. He previously worked for Fieldcrest Mills. Jimmy was known for his laughter, his hard work and his love for life. He never met a stranger and knew everyone.

He is survived by his sisters, Lynn Overby (the late Ricky Overby) of Ruffin and Lisa Denny of Eden; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pilot Murphy.

The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation for Dr. Parsons and the staff at the Brian Center, for their loving care and support.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 4, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
