JUELDEAN 'JUDY' VANCE
Judy passed away Friday, September 14, 2007, at the age of 95.
She was born to Gilbert and Pearl Gallemore on August 15, 1912, in Seneca, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas; her parents; and her brothers, Vance and Odell.
In the 1920's, she moved to California with her family. They settled in the Auberry-Prather area of Fresno County.
She attended area grammar schools and graduated from Sierra High School.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed the country life, living on a cattle ranch with her husband Douglas until his death.
She was an outdoorsy woman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing.
In her later years, she was a resident at Oakdale Heights in Fresno where she met her best friend Bernice, they enjoyed many good times together.
She is survived by her sister,
Bertenis of Lovelock, Nv.;
son, James Childers and his wife Sherie of San Luis Obispo;
stepson, Clinton Vance and his wife Lynn of Sanger;
grand-daughters, Deborah Lamont and her husband Brian, Laurie Kimball and her husband Bruce, and Kari Vance; her great-granddaughters, Kelley and Karine;
great-grandsons, Kristopher and Jesse and his wife Amy; and her great-great-grandchildren, Sadie Moon, Riley Fahey and Benjamin. Kari and Karine will truly miss their beloved Oma.
