Jessie Jeanette Lawrence, 77, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:16 A.M. Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her home.

Jessie was born in Paducah on August 9, 1943 to William and Wilmoth Boswell. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired as an LPN with Western Baptist Hospital. She will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family. She was the cornerstone of her family and her legacy will live on in the enduring love that flows from her memory.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her daughters, Anita Lawrence and Janie Wallace (Jackie), all of Paducah; her sons, Benjamin Lawrence (Shayna), of Paducah, Jason Lawrence (DeVanna), of Brownsburg, Indiana; her sisiter, Marilyn Chambers, of Metropolis, Illinois; her brother, Ronnie Boswell (Elizabeth), of Paducah; her grandchildren, Nathan Wallace, Joshua Wallace, Jessica Waggoner, Lynae Lawrence, Lynzi Lawrence, Will Lawrence; and her four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her parents, William Newman Boswell and Wilmoth Aline Barnhill Vaughn; her sister Carolyn Tilley; and her brother, Butch Brown.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Frank Queen officiating. Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, September 28, 2020 at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lourdes Hospice, PO Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002-7100.
