Visitation will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at West Union Baptist Church.
Burial will be in West Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Leo Miller will officiate the service.
A native of Paducah, KY, he served in US Army during the Vietnam War. Butch was a retired Minister of 46 years and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Brown and Wilmath Barnhill; his loving wife of over 40 years, Martha Gay Brown; and his sister, Carolyn Tilley.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jeremy (Kelli) Brown and Josh (Jessika) Brown; 4 grandsons, Logan Brown, Lukas Brown, Lex Brown, and Brett Brown; his sisters and brother, Jeanette Lawrence, Ronnie (Elizabeth) Boswell, and Marilyn "LuLu" Chambers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
