Mynor's first wife was Alemina Edwards (1800-1837), they married c 1822 in New York state and had children Edwards Milton Beckwith, Mary G. Beckwith, plus other children, ending with son Jefferson Beckwith (1850 Census, Jefferson is the only child with Mynor Y. Beckwith, in Michigan)

Smith (widow of Richard Wilcox 1816-1852) were married in early 1853 and their son Lawrence Beckwith was conceived in June . 1860 Census, Caroline is with her five children (from both marriages), George Wilcox, John Wilcox, Theoda Wilcox, Delos Wilcox and Lawrence Beckwith in Lyons, Ionia, Michigan
