Joseph Caldwell Sr. 76 of Fairdale, loving husband, father and step-father peacefully passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020. Joe was born on February 7, 1944 to Lorene and Arthur Caldwell in Henderson, Kentucky. Joe was one of 7 siblings. He served in the Army as a sergeant in the 196 Battalion Infantry in Vietnam from 1967-1968. Joe spent most of his life with his loving wife. Together they raised five kids, step children , 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, 6 siblings, Jane Starr, Ethel Tully, Kathleen Crook, Arthur Caldwell, Robert Caldwell and Paul David Caldwell and his granddaughter, Jennifer Caldwell. A chapel service will be conducted 1 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington with entombment to follow.
