BOUNTIFUL — Ronald Eugene Gagon, lovingly known as Pop, passed away Sunday, June 26, 1994 from complications due to leukemia. Born Sept. 8, 1928 in Eureka, Utah to Joseph and Margaret Gagon. Married Beverly Joyce Goodwin Nov. 23, 1973.
He worked in marketing and sales for the D&RGW Railroad until his retirement, and was working for the Sprinkler Division of the University of Utah up until three weeks ago. Active member of the LDS Church where he was serving in the Sunday School presidency. Ron was everyone's friend and loved little children. he will be greatly missed by young and old alike.
Ron is survived by his wife and children, Colleen, Rory, Sherman, Shelley, Lisa, Robert, Connie and Thomas; brothers, Leo Gagon, Ira Gagon and Tom Gagon; sisters, Twila Peck, Rose Afton Cesario, Isabell Johnson, Lillian Daniels and Pat Colton; 21 grandchildren, including his best pal, buddy and friend, Mick "Joe" Garrison.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 29 at 2 p.m. in the Mueller Park Stake Center, 1800 Mueller Park Road, Bountiful. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Bountiful.
