Vera Sue (Bass) White of Boonville, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2020. Vera was born July 22, 1942 to the late Charles and Lois Bass.
She worked in healthcare for 30+ years at Chandler Medco, Children's Psychiatric Center, St. Mary's and Select Specialty Hospital.
Vera is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford; son, Steven; brothers, Charles and Cletus; and granddaughter, Hannah Rudisill.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Lynn) , David (Lisa), Patricia (Dusty), Kathryn, Brian (Sandy), Mark (Sandy), and Jason (Cathy); 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-granddaughter; her brothers, Don and Mark; her sisters, Carolyn, Phyllis, and Roxanne; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 28, 2020. A private service for family members will follow at 1:00 P.M. Nana will be laid to rest next to Whopsey at Greenwood Cemetery in Chandler, Indiana. Vera was a breast cancer survivor. Published in Courier Press from September 25, to September 26, 2020.
