The funeral of the late Joseph CORAM, Esq., M.P.P. took place yesterday afternoon from his residence, Protection St., Carleton (St. John) Rev. Parnther and Rev. Hartley conducted religious services in the house. After the service, the remains were conveyed to the church burial ground where they were laid in their last resting place. The Masonic body, including Carleton Lodge and other city lodges led off, folowed by coaches and the hearse. Behind the mourners were members of the local legislature and St. John Corporation. The pall bearers, all Masonic Past Masters, were Hon. WILLIS, Ald. McCORDOCK, Stephen P. WETMORE, Charles KETCHUM, Samuel L. BRITTAIN and Joseph BEATTEAY, immediate friends of the family. Religious service at the grave was conducted by Rev. Parnther who readc the Church of England service for the burial of the dead. The Masonic ritual was read by John V. ELLIS, Grand Master, assisted by B. Lester PETERS, Esq. and Rev. Hickson, both of Masonic order.
