Father of Robert T. Cutting of Eureka; David C. Cutting of Medford, Oregon; and George H. Cutting of Corvallis, Oregon. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He had lived in Humboldt County since 1957. Before retirement, he was retirement, he was employed as an insurance adjuster. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Mill Valley, California. A native of San Francisco. Age 89.

Private funeral services will be held at Sanders Funeral Home Wednesday, November 11, at 1:30 p.m. under the auspices of Semper Virens Lodge No. 552 F and AM of Eureka. Private inurnment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery.

By 1920, they have moved to Mill Valley, CA, and had two children, Robert (age 9) and Margaret (age 7). Helen died on February 10, 1930, at the age of 43 in San Francisco County, CA.

In 1930, Howard was living in Mill Valley with his children, Margaret (age 17), David (age 7), and George (age 5).

Howard married Florence (Haviside) Swan on May 19, 1930, in Marin County, CA. This was a second marriage for both of them.
