Grace Ellen Hall --- July 26, 1925 / September 16, 2020

Grace Ellen Hall, 95, Martinsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, September 16, 2020, at her home.

She was born in rural Woodbury, daughter of the late W. Homer and Margaret E. (Ake) Stonerook. On December 24, 1945, she married Richard C. Hall in Woodbury, and he preceded her in death on December 2, 1994.

Surviving are a son, Barry R. Hall (Debra) of rural Martinsburg; three granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Anna Harclerode of Bedford and Carol Jean Bowers of Roaring Spring; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Lois E. Musselman and Betty L. Dilling.

Grace was a 1943 graduate of Woodbury High School. She was primarily a homemaker, who also worked at A&P Grocery Store, Altoona and Rhodes Meat Market, Martinsburg.

She was a lifetime member of Woodbury Church of God, where she was very active, serving as a Sunday school teacher, secretary for Sunday school and also the Young Peoples Group.

Grace loved spending time with family, embroidery, putting puzzles together, search a word books and quilting. She also enjoyed volunteering as a den mother and most of all babysitting Barry’s pet dogs.

Friends will be received from 10-11am, Monday, September 21, 2020, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a funeral will follow at 11am, Pastor Jim Shaffer officiating. Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Memorial contribution in memory of Grace may be given to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
