Funeral services for Larry Lynn Wiggins, 81, of Ringgold, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Rockett Funeral Home Chapel, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Bro. James Morgan. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA.

Larry was born February 12, 1939 in Ft. McCavett, TX and passed away September 14, 2020 at his home in Ringgold, LA. He served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Union Pacific Railroad Company. Larry coached Dixie League baseball for several years and went on to coach baseball at Ringgold High School for a few years. He loved the game of baseball and being able to coach his son, grandsons and the young boys of Ringgold, LA. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved making knives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Idell Wiggins; brothers, Bobby Blake and Mike Wiggins; and sisters, Judy Woodard, Tommie Grace Garrett, Myra Ann King, and Dorothy Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 61 years, Delane Wiggins of Ringgold, LA; son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Marj Wiggins of Ringgold, LA; grandchildren, Deanna and Mike Bates of Ringgold, LA, Rachel and Joseph Brimer of Haughton, LA, Laura and Chris Keith of Coushatta, LA, Ethan and Sherri Wiggins of Ringgold, LA, Andrew and Kallie Wiggins of Jamestown, LA and Kyle Wiggins of Ringgold, LA; brothers, Harry Wiggins and wife, Sandy of Ringgold, LA, Harvey Blake of Shongaloo, LA and Richard Wiggins and wife, Sherrie of Ringgold, LA; seventeen great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Wiggins, Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Wiggins, Mike Bates, Joey Brimer, and Chris Keith.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Martin Carter, Kindred Home Health, Dr. Sean Troxclair, and Lincare for all their care and support.
