Phillip Lee Hartsfield, formerly of McFarland California, born on November 19, 1950 in Bakersfield to the late Margie Bruner Hartsfield and the late Clarence Hartsfield, passed away at age 67 on February 22, 2018 in Bakersfield. He was a farm machinery and oilfield mechanic. Phil was the beloved husband of Jo Ann Hartsfield. He was preceded in death by his brother, JR Hartsfield; and sisters, Alice Sotello and Linda Conley. Phil is survived by his daughters Melanie (James) Tierney and Kasey (Kurt) Pixler; sisters Judy Newkirk and Diane Howard, and grandchildren Kelsey and Kolton Pixler, and Michael Tierney. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebration of Phil's life, officiated by Pastor Ken Hosman on Saturday March 3, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel on Nile Street.
