Sylvia Ann Orosco Garcia went to be with our Lord on September 10, 2020. She was born in Cuero on April 22, 1960 to Leandro Orosco Sr. and the late Guadalupe Dehoyos Orosco.

Sylvia worked in retail for many years. She loved to play bingo and Spanish bingo. Sylvia enjoyed dancing and loved to attend gatherings. She always put others before herself and left no one out. She loved everyone and was loved by many. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her meals were always so fulfilling and so good. Sylvia was always so happy and full of joy. She had a smile that was contagious and could brighten your day.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Jean Orosco; son, Christopher Cody Garcia; brother, Raymond Orosco; and mother, Guadalupe Dehoyos Orosco.

Sylvia will be lying in state on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 1 to 5 pm at Freund Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9 am on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 with a rosary recited at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass will follow at 10 am with Father Jasper Liggio officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
