Blanche Jones, 94, of Sikeston, died Jan. 26, 2005, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born July 26, 1910, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Charles and Mae "Babe" Hibbs Mayo, she was a member of Rauch-Spence Methodist Church and was a private duty nurse before retiring.
Her husband, Orville Paul Jones, preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1981.
Survivors include: one son, Harry Jones; one daughter, Virginia King; and eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Charles Jones; and three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation was until service time at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Harold Norton, pastor of senior adult ministries at the First United Methodist Church, officiated.
Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers were: Jeff King, Ron Carter, Todd Wilson, Darren Eby, Nathen King and John Ward.
