Obituary
Annette Ruth Hubbard of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away suddenly on August 16, 2020 at the age of 60.
She is survived by her husband Phil Hubbard and daughter Carissa Hubbard, her father Dr. John Lennox, her brother Philip, his wife Lorena, and their daughter Kelsey, and her brother David, his wife Lisa, and their daughters Sarah and Hannah.
Annette was predeceased by her mother Dr. Ruth Lennox. Annette was born in England, but soon after her family moved to Ghana to practice medicine. Then, in the late 1960’s her family relocated to Canada. After her high school graduation in 1977, she went on to obtain an x-ray diploma from BCIT and settled in the Crowsnest Pass to practice. It was then that she met her future husband Phil. After working for a year, she went to Kettering College to earn her certification as an ultrasound technician. On November 10, 1985, Annette and Phil were married. Then in 1999, they welcomed their only daughter, Carissa. Annette returned to school once again to pursue her passion in social work and completed her degree in 2009. Upon early retirement, she enjoyed playing accordion, cardmaking, writing letters, walking, biking, and cross-country skiing. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held by live stream only at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 24, 2020. The link will be available on the Martin Brothers website.
