Mary (Hyslip) Freeman Thom, 92, of Rockford died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, in River Bluff Nursing Home.
Born June 26, 1915, in Poughkeepsie, Ark., the daughter of George and Nancy Emily (Watkins) Hyslip.
Married Otto Freeman in 1932; he died in 1967. Married Truman Thom in 1978; he died in 1990. She retired from National Lock after many years. Member of Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughter, Louise DuSavage, sons, Ronald Freeman and Gene (Janette) Freeman; 19 grandchildren and many great-grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter, Ruby; parents; three sisters Bertha, Otha & Doshie.; and one brother Everett R. Hyslip.
Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Burial in Lawrence Memorial Park, Walnut Ridge, Ark. In lieu of flowers memorial to be established.
