DEVEREUX - At her residence, Ponsonby, Auckland, Ellen, relict of the late W. C. Devereux, of Lower Hutt; aged 74 years.
The death is announced of another old settler, Mrs Ellen Devereux, relict of Mr W. C. Devereux, of the Lower Hutt. The deceased lady had recently resided at Ponsonby, Auckland, where her death occurred. She came out to the colony fifty years ago by the ship Myrtle and is survived by Misses A. and E. Devereux, of Auckland, Mrs Williams of Dunedin and Mr F. W. Devereux of Wellington
Ellen is buried with her daughter Nellie
