Funeral Services for Mrs. Carpenter at Methodist Church

Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Carpenter were held from the Methodist church Monday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karl C. Schuster officiating.

Mrs. Carpenter died Friday, May 22, at her home in Ulysses. She had been a resident of this community for the past ten years. She was 69 years old. Interment was in the Ulysses cemetery with the Phillips Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Carpenter is survived by five children, Mrs. Helen Worm of Ulysses, Mrs. Evelyn Hamilton of Delta, Colo., formerly of Ulysses, Reuben Becker of Swink, Colo., Ella Wyckoff of Greeley, Colo., Mrs. Irene Rohrig of Greeley, Colo.; one brother, Henry Niedens of Kansas City, Kansas; and one sister, Mrs. Marie Simmons of Amarillo, Texas; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
