Estelle Bryant Buchanan, age 95, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Cornerstone Village.
She was born in Bakersville, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Jason Bryant and Sallie Mosley Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Buchanan; two sons, Roger Dean Buchanan, and Ronnie Wayne Buchanan; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Hunt Buchanan Edwards; four sisters, Pauline Bryant Buchanan, Beulah Bryant, Anna Bennett, and Helen Greene; and five brothers, John, Luther, Claude, Robert, and Bascom Bryant.
Estelle attended Keystone Freewill Baptist Church. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Johnson City Medical Center labor and delivery for over 30 years. She loved caring for others.
She is survived by two granddchildren, two great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
Committal Service and Interment will be held Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Garden of the Gospels at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Terry Jones officiating.
