Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Jerry O'Neal Holland Sr., went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 31, 2020. He passed to Eternity with his wife of 62 years, Jeannie, and his five children, Jerry Jr., Mike, Sherri Taylor, Christi Johnston, and Nikki Gibbs, by his side.

Jerry was a Godly man and a member of Union Valley Baptist Church for over 32 years. He was a dedicated, loyal man who loved his Lord, wife, family and country dearly.

He was born September 1, 1938 in Dyess, Arkansas. A man of humble beginnings, he was raised with his 7 siblings, Darrell, Arthell, Wendell, Eula, Lee, Carrell, and Joyce, by his loving and nurturing parents, Vernon and Icelean Holland. He was a stellar baseball player and graduate of Dyess High School, Class of 1956.

He married the love of his life, Jeannie Sanders, on September 18, 1958. He cared, provided, adored and loved her for over 62 years. Together they raised their five children. Jerry and Jeannie were blessed with 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
