Myra E. Rogers, age 83, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 in her residence. Myra was born August 11, 1937 in Warsaw, Indiana to Frederick and Dorothy (Woodling) Hover. She was united in marriage to LaMar Rogers on August 18, 1956 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.

She was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School. She worked in the cafeteria, enjoying the food preparation for the Warsaw Community High School. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. She was known to be a wonderful cook, loved to camp, read, and kept a journal of everything. She was recognized by her family as “just the best” mom. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Lady’s Auxiliary and Rosary Altar Society.

Myra is survived by husband, LaMar Rogers, of Warsaw; children, Catherine (Craig) Smith, of Warsaw , Michael Rogers, of Columbia City, Christopher (Lisa) Rogers, of Florissant, CO, Linda (Steven) Strong, of Seattle, WA, Susan (Gary) Simpson, of Warsaw, and Laura (Jeff) Parker, of Lagro, IN. In addition, she is survived by sibling, Dennis (Pat) Hover, of Warsaw; daughter-in-law, Tammy Steele, of Ft. Wayne; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Rogers, and sister, Susan Stamper.
