Jacqueline Kay Parton, 69, of Franklin, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 7th, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. Jacqueline was born on December 25th, 1951, in Franklin, Indiana to the late Arnold Parton and Nellie (Gaddis) Parton.
Jacqueline was a Franklin native, spending all her life in this community. If there was ever a job that she loved, it was working for Special Services in Johnson County as bus driver, interacting with people of hearing difficulties and blindness.
Jacqueline spent years collecting key chains. She enjoyed taking country rides in the car and listening to the radio.
Jacqueline's favorite activity was family gatherings. Everyone getting together and making great memories.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Glen Parton, Dayton Parton, Winford Parton; and her sister, Dorothy Stephens.
Jacqueline is survived by her children, Gregory Allen Sims, Robert Wayne Sims, Nancy Lee Sims, all of Franklin, IN.; her brother, Vernie Parton, of Whiteland, IN.; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many loved ones and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 14th, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Youngs Creek Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
