Rhonda Kay Lee, age 64, passed away September 3, 2020 surrounded by her family. Rhonda was born June 27, 1956 in Walton County, Florida to Jasper and Thelma Edwards Floyd. She enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Mary Lou, Helen, Lucille, and Nell; and two brothers, Joey and Wilburn.
Rhonda is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Clinton Junior Lee; four children, Adam Lee (Shannon), Tammy Newby, Allen Lee (Amanda), and CJ Lee (Sabrina); eight grandchildren, Cora, Tyler, Carey, Stacey, Easton, Hope, Bryce, and Brianna; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Alvin Floyd (Bobbie) of Navarre, Florida, Sue Edwards (Linard) of Ponce de Leon, Florida, Gloria O’Neal of Bruce, Florida, Lola Davis (Roger) of Geneva, Alabama, and Dell Floyd (Pat) of Geneva, Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends that became family, some of whom she often referred to as her "river and creek children."
A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in Red Bay Cemetery, 10319 Rock Hill Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455 with Reverend Michael Smith and Reverend Kenny Montgomery officiating.
Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home.
