Margaret E. "Mollie" Hyde McWilliams was the daughter of Isaac and Jemima (Murrell) Hyde. Isaac was born in 1799 in NC and Jemina was born in 1805 in TN. Isaac Hyde was elected an elder in 1831 of the New Garden Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Limestone Co. AL and had a far-reaching effect upon the church body.

"Mollie" was married to William Andrew "Will Andy" McWillims Dec. 20, 1850 in Limestone Co., AL by Rev. James Kirkland of the New Garden Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The McWilliams family was also very instrumental in the NG Church.
Their children were:
i. James McWilliams b. 1852
ii. Isaac McWilliams b. 1853
iii. Ewing Lemuel McWilliams b.1857
iv. Thomas McWilliams b. 1860
