Earl Boonie, 77, of Life Long Landing Lane, Hollywood, Md., died Saturday, Dec 30, at the residence of his daughter Shelley Wilson.
He was born August 18th, 1929, near McClure, Snyder County, Pa. He was the son of the late Foster Isaac and Grace Cordelia Hayes Boonie.
He is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Shelley Wilson and her husband Roy of Hollywood, Md., and Ms. Cathy Nordan of Ohio. Three grandchildren; Sarah Miller and husband Kevin of Lusby, Md., Robert Wilson and wife Naoko in Japan, and Daniel Wilson and wife Katie of Bensalem, Pa. Six great grandchildren; Nathan Cannon and Robert Miller both of Lusby, Sakura Wilson, Chihiro Wilson, Robert Wilson and Christopher Wilson of Japan. Earl is also survived by a brother, Robert Gero of Michigan, and three sisters; Mrs. Margie Stevens and husband James of Clarksville, TN., Mrs. Jean Zwang of Coalinga, Ca., and Mrs. Betty Lehberger of Ohio.
Earl Boonie is predeceased by the following brothers and sisters; Raymond C., Goldie C., Ruth C., Frederick I., Glen F., John M., Mary L., and Donald F.
A memorial service will be held on January 4, 2007, at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, in Lusby, Md.
