James Leslie Sr., age 49 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, August 31, 2020. He was a former employee of Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his brother, Delbert Leslie. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife , son, daughters, parents, brother, sisters, 3 granddaughters, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted for immediate family only at noon on Friday, September 4, 2020 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 1 pm until 8 pm on Thursday, September 3, 2020 and after 9 am until noon on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
