AGE 90 YEARS
Nancy (Keegan) Russell of Charlestown died suddenly August 28, 2020, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Nancy was a daughter of the late Michael Keegan and Dora T. (O'Leary) Keegan. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1948. Nancy worked at the Boston Naval Shipyard in Charlestown for several years before it's closing in 1973. She then began working for the Teamsters Union Local # 25 as a Teller in their Credit Union and worked there for almost 20 years.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, was an avid reader and also enjoyed traveling especially to Foxwoods. She was a member of The Old Charlestown Schoolgirls Association. Nancy was dedicated to her family and she enjoyed the quality moments spent with her beloved husband and their 3 children and their families.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Russell (Ret. BPD). Devoted mother of Maureen Hennessy, Susan Ellis and William "Billy" Russell and their spouses. Loving Nana to 9 grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. Beloved sister of the late Mary Connor, John & Eugene "Gene" Keegan. Beloved aunt.

Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
