Actor. Fernando Manuel Alfonso Gómez de Valdés y Castillo, better known as El Loco Valdés, was a Mexican actor and comedian from the golden age of Mexican cinema. He acted in several films, including "El mariachi desconocido", "Casa de perdición", "Las hermanas Karambazo", "Las cariñosas", "Dos tipas de cuidado", among others, and telenovelas such as "Siempre te amaré", "Entre el amor y el odio", "¡Vivan los niños!", and "Amy, la niña de la mochila azul". Valdés also had his own TV shows, "Ensalada de locos", "El show del Loco Valdés" and "La Hora del Loco". He was the brother of Ramón Valdés, and Germán Valdés "Tin Tan". He was also the father of singers Cristian Castro and Marcos Valdés. He died of complications of cancer.
