Sharon grew up and attended school in Pryor, graduating from Pryor High School in 1966. She attended vocational school for nursing and became an LPN. She worked for the VA Hospital in Claremore, where she retired. She was married for 51 years, to the love of her life, Jimmy King, on April 8, 1966 and they made their home and raised their family in Pryor.
Sharon enjoyed plants and loved being a nana. She especially loved traveling to her grandkids sporting events and watching them play various sports.
She is survived by her two sons, Billy King and wife Jackie of Pryor, Brett King and wife Christie of Pryor; seven grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dakota, Matt, Daulton, Zoe, Rider and Jay; two brothers, Mike Finnell and Lori Covey, and Rick Oxford and wife Terry of Pryor; one sister, Vickie Ogden of Missouri, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Casketbearers for Sharon will be her grandsons, Matt Gibson, Daulton King, Rider King, and Jay King.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jimmy, and sister in law Leslie Finnell.
