Harker B Spensley Jr of Denver, a businessman, died Jan 17 at Swedish Medical Center. He was 77. Private family services will be held. Spensley was born Aug 22, 1915, in Dubuque, Iowa. On May 24, 1936, he married Ruth Marie Moffatt in Dubuque. They moved to Denver in 1942 and he worked for the Rocky Mountain News. Later, he owned Harker Spensley Advertising. Spensley was a member of St. John's and Christ Episcopal Churches.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Jane M Miller, Longmont, Margo L Spensley, Denver, and Caron L Andrews, Littleton; two sisters, Anne Gallogly and Mary Weir; four grandchildren (Christa, Marni, Ben and Kailyn); and great grandsons (Pat and Dallis).

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Jane Miller of Longmont, Margo Spensley of Denver and Caron Andrews of Littleton; two sisters, Georgette Hardie of Dubuque and Mary Weir of Stamford, Conn.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Cause of death: pneumonia associated with long term Parkinson's
