Passed away peacefully at the Strong Memorial Hospital on August 23, 2020, at the age of 84. Preceded in death by his parents, John ("Jack") and Ruth of Poughkeepsie, New York.
He is survived by his wife, Katie; and daughter, Holly Glazer. He is also survived by his sister, Sally (Dante) Dattoli of Edgewater, Florida; grandchildren, Emma and Evan Glazer; two nephews and a niece.
John was a graduate of Trinity Pawling School, Dartmouth College and Albany Law School. He retired as a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserve. He practiced law in Poughkeepsie for 50 years specializing in Real Estate and Estate Planning. He was an active member in his community and served on many Boards. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
No services will be held at this time. A private burial will take place at the Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in John's name.
