Roger Wesley Curtis, 55, of Kokomo, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in Community Howard Regional Health Intensive Care Unit.

Born on June 11, 1965, he was the son of the late Fred and Ellen May (Bell) Curtis. From 1966-69, his parents were stationed at the McKinley AFB in Bermuda and Roger grew up with the amenities of that island as his playground. As a youth, Roger was active in the Order of DeMolay and attended the Wheatland Avenue U.M. Church.

After graduating from Logansport High School, Roger followed in the footsteps of his parents and older brothers by enlisting in the military. He was very proud of his service to his country. Roger worked as a truck driver for many years before taking an early retirement due to his health.

Roger is survived by one sister; two brothers; five nephews and nieces; seven great-nieces and great-nephews; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by one nephew, Willie Ellis.

Burial, with full military honors, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
