Mary Ella Underwood of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Edwin Marrs Underwood and Lillie Rose Martin Underwood, was born on Tuesday, July 2, 1940 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Zion Baptist Church in Campbellsville. She was also a housekeeper and farmed.

Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law: Shelby Underwood, and Delbert and Marsha Underwood all of Greensburg; a niece: Martha Price of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary was also preceded in death by two sisters: Emma Price and Delores Underwood. There will be graveside services for Mary Ella Underwood held at 12:00 Noon, Central Time, Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River, which can be made at the funeral home.
