Jesse Melvin Brandon was born on November 5, 1931 in Healdton, OK to William and Grace Brandon. He passed away on August 17, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Jesse served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid OU football fan, and never missed a home game in 42 years. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing, and he got his first hole in one at the age of 78 years old. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Jesse is survived by his 2 daughters, Sharon Foster and Kristi Ribble and husband, Kirk Hull; 1 son, Jeff Brandon and wife, Jennifer; 6 grandchildren, Stacy Hendrix and husband, Darrell, Niki Turnpaugh and husband, Jimmie, Cody Ribble and wife, Ashley, Kayleigh Ribble, Hayden "Hub" Brandon and Jaren "Jake" Brandon; 8 great-grandchildren, Trevor Hendrix, Bailey Lakin and husband, Johnathon, Jessica Turnpaugh, Jacob "Gus" Turnpaugh, Mason Couch, Hadley Hayes, Logan Boyer and one on the way; great-great- grandchildren, Brantley Hendrix, Sutton Hendrix and Jaxtyn Lakin.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty Brandon; parents, Vernon & Grace Brandon; 1 brother; 2 sisters. In lieu of flowers please send donations to any Veterans organization.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 3:00 - 8:30 PM at the John Ireland Funeral Home 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2020 at the First Christian Church, 629 NW 12th St. Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Moore Cemetery, Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK.
