Myrtle enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, working in her garden and working as a RN at Griffin Memorial in Norman.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Bond; son, Dean Willingham and wife, Harriet; 4 grandchildren, Kevin Ward, Eric Mercer and wife, June, Jesse Willingham, Heather Willingham and fiancé, Clifton; 1 great-grandchild, Addrienne; 1 sister, Pearl Hopkins and husband, Fred.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Perry Brown; 2 sons, Michael Brown and David Willingham; 1 great-grandchild, Candace Ward; and brothers, Jack and Robert Allen.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 24, 2020 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
