Bruce Wheeler, age 57, Cunningham Road Fountain City Route 2, died at General Hospital 3 a.m. Tuesday. He was a member of Stooksbury Lodge No 602 F&AM La Follette, also superintendent of Marshall Spring & Bedding Co. Survivors: widow: Mrs. Elizabeth Ayers Wheeler, four sons Robert M., Knoxville, Ayers Bruce of Fountain City, David P and Glenn I Wheeler, U S Navy California; five daughters Misses Jean, Jane, and Eleanor Fay Wheeler of Fountain City, Mrs. Earl S Rochat of Knoxville, Mrs. Thos. W Cox of Los Angeles, mother Mrs D. U. Wheeler Harlan, Ky.; three brothers T. S. Wheeler of Canyon City, Colorado; W. R. of Sweetwater; Frank of Harlan, Ky.; one sister Mrs. I Mae Carr of Harlan, Ky.; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced later. The body is at Mynatts.
