Ella Jean Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at the age of 94. She was born on September 10, 1925, in Sobol, Oklahoma to Joseph E. Allen and Ethel A. Allen. She was a 1944 graduate of Rattan High School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E. Allen and Ethel A. Allen; her three brothers and two sisters; the father of her children and first husband, Raymond Lee Thomas, and second husband, David Hill; and granddaughter, Curie Kaye Thomas; and great-granddaughter, Hailey Folsom.

Her legacy is carried on by her son, Roger Lee Thomas, and her daughter, Sandra Kaye Folsom and husband Sonny; her four grandchildren: Nia Kaye Thomas, Shad Folsom and wife Karri, and Stefanie Messer; and her six great-grandchildren: Ashley Silva, Braeden Messer, Ethan Folsom, Madison Messer, Kristin Folsom, and Angeleah.

In her retirement years, she enjoyed acrylic painting, making ceramics, crocheting, sewing, dancing, and teaching Sunday school and VBS.
