Carol Joan Butler passed away suddenly in her sleep during the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at age 76 while under professional care. She lived her entire life in Indianapolis and enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Michigan.
She attended the Glendale Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and found great enjoyment in many things, including all types of nature, gardening, animals, many various pets over the years, art, Elvis Presley and Walt Disney World.
She was the only daughter of two children of Cecil and Marion York. Carol is survived by her husband, Lawrence; four children; and three grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
