Anna Faye Hayes, age 93, of Murray, KY and formerly of the Cuba Community passed away at 7:35 AM Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray. Anna was a retired office worker from the former South Central Bell Telephone Company, was a member of the Cuba Church of Christ where she taught the Cradle Roll Class for approximately 40 years, was a member of the Cuba Homemakers Club, a member of the Freed Hardeman Association and was a volunteer for hospice and the American Red Cross.
Anna is survived by her two sisters – Barbara McCuiston of Murray, KY and Laura Kemp of Mayfield, KY; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband of 62 years – John William Hayes; parents – L.B. & Stella Alexander Flood; twin brother – James Ray Flood; brother – Danny M. Flood; two sisters – Hilda Frances Bell and Mary Jo Shelton.
Graveside services for Anna will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 202 at the Cuba Community Cemetery with Will McSweeney officiating. Friends are invited to call after 10:00 AM on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
