Published in The Paducah Sun, Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky., 7 Apr 2006 - MAYFIELD, Ky. -- Stella M. Flood, 101, of Mayfield died at 6:02 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Manor.
Mrs. Flood was a member of Farmington Church of Christ and Farmington Homemakers.
Surviving are two sons, James R. Flood of Mayfield and Danny M. Flood of Farmington; five daughters, Hilda Bell and Mary Jo Shelton, both of Farmington, Anna Faye Hayes of Cuba, Laura Nell Kemp of Mayfield and Barbara McCuiston of Murray; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. "Jim" Flood; one grandchild; two brothers; and two sisters. Her parents were Dave and Joanna Ingram Alexander.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home with Amos Allen and Jerry Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.
