Kathryn Ruth Huffer, 93, of Frankfort, died on August 17, 2020 at Wesley Manor. She was born on September 26, 1926 in Forest, IN to Fred and Minnie (Johnson) Smith. She married Maurice R. Huffer on July 1, 1951 at the Forest Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2011.
Kathryn was a 1944 graduate of Forest High School. She worked at Peets Feeds in Frankfort for 29 years as office manager and purchasing agent. She was an over 50 year member of the St. Matthew United Methodist Church, the Order of Easters Star (Clinton Chapter 6), and Psi Iota Xi.
Kathryn is survived by two nephews; one great-niece; three great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and one great-great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Eleanor Thompson and Elizabeth Sharp; and one nephew, Tom Sharp.
No visitation is planned. Family graveside services will be held at Bunnell Cemetery.
