Peacefully, with family by her side, Yvette Chapellaz of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the St. Claude Pavilion on Monday, October 25, 2010 at the age of 88 years.

She leaves to mourn her sons, Roger (Marlene), Robert (Odette); her daughter Doreen (Pete Boon); sons-in-law James Barwick and Jim Jenkinson; daughter-in-law Elaine Gaultier; grandchildren, Ronald (Nicole), Marc (Allison), Micheline (Chad) Prosser, Lynne (Craig) Krantz, Jordan and Randi Barwick; and great-grandchildren Brody, Kieran and Jayden Chapellaz; Ainsley and Sophie Chapellaz; Bailey and Ashley Prosser. She also leaves to mourn one sister Doreen (John) Campbell; sister-in-law Cecile Lambert along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband Louis, two infant children, and a son Donald and daughter Linda; six sisters and one brother and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Prayers and video tribute at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Marcel Carrière officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Claude Pavilion/ Palliative/Compassionate Care Fund.
