Joseph(Ralph) Thomas Hartman, age 88 passed away May 21 at 124am. He was born April 5th 1932 in Reedsville(Preston county) West Virginia, to parents Joseph Thomas Hartman and Bessie Lulu Weaver. He was the youngest and last surviving child. The family relocated to Richmond CA in 1942, and finally moved to Pittsburg in 1950 where he lived for the next 70yrs. He served in the Army National Guard of CA in 1951 and the US Navy in 1956. On December 25th 1957( Christmas day) he married his wife of 62yrs Delores P. Mollohan in Pittsburg CA. On November 1st 1958 his first son Thomas Hartman was born. His second son David Hartman was born on October 24th 1964. He attended Diablo Valley College and studied electronics. In 1969 he went to work for Systron Donner in Concord CA as a lead computer technician. In 1978 he started working for Roto Rooter Sewer Service as a TV camera technician and plumber. He retired from Roto Rooter after 14 yrs at the age of 64 yrs old. After his retirement he had many hobbies that included: building old chevelle's and el camino cars, going to car swap meets and flea markets, and building computers. He loved animals that included his dobermans and later became a member of HALO to save and the adoption of cats which he loved very much.

He is survived by his wife of 62yrs, Delores P. Hartman, his two sons Thomas and David Hartman, and his grandchildren: Cassandra lynn Sorto-Miranda, Nicole Alice Hartman, Lindsey Danielle Loving. And his great grandchildren: Jayce Arillo Sorto-Miranda, Hannah lynn Brown, and many nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon CA at a later date to be announced.
