Frank attended schools in both Garber and Porum. He joined the United States Army in May of1946 at the end of World War II, serving honorably. He then returned to the service October 20, 1950 during the Korean Conflict. Frank Webb Jr. and Delma Moore were married on November 17, 1951; and in 1964 they made their home in Bristow. To this union were born five children.
Frank worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He worked anywhere from roustabout in the oilfield to being a business owner running Webb's Grocery. He loved to play poker and tinker with small engines, being known as the best lawn mower mechanic around. He would sometimes trade a running mower for one that did not work. As well, Frank was a member of both the VFW and Elks Lodge.
Frank is survived by his wife, Delma, of the Bristow home; one son, Frank Webb III and wife Earletta of Owasso; two daughters, June Rake and Kim Garton both of Bristow; one sister, Sonya Bryant of Porum, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Bobby Watt, Scott Webb and wife Heather, Amanda Childress, Raymond Webb and wife Erin, Nick Webb and wife Teresa, and Krystal Hobson and husband Jon; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jeff Webb; a daughter, Debbie Webb; two brothers and two sisters. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00am, Friday, August 21, 2020 at Bristow City Cemetery with Reverend Gene Jackson officiating.
