Newton Milo Aubert, forty-two years old, died at his home here Sunday after an illness of two weeks. The funeral was held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday from the Methodist church. Rev. E. M. Kendall officiating.
Newton Aubert was born at Loupe (sic) City April 12, 1884.
He was married to Miss Alta Ives of Tilden, Neb., June 26, 1907 at Neligh, Neb. They resided on a farm near Tilden, Neb., about seven years.
They came to Fairbury, Neb., January 14,1914 (sic) and have spent the last fourteen years in Fairbury. The last six years he has worked for the Fairbury Ice company.
He is survived by his widow and three daughters, Misses Eunice, Thelma and Eileen. One sister, Mrs. John Russell of Fairbury; one brother Earl Aubert of Valley, Wash.
Relatives from out of town at the funeral included the Misses Eulala, Dorothy, and Stelle Montgomery, and Earl Montgomery, Nieces and nephew of Herman, Neb., Orlie Ives, Tacoma, Neb., Mrs. William Aubert and half brothers, Ralph Cliff and David Aubert and Mrs. Koker of Arcade, Neb., and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shimice and daughter of Helvey.
