Mrs. Alta Aubert, formerly of Fairbury, passed away at Lincoln, Neb., Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1959, at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 2 days.
Alta Ives, daughter of George and Celia Ives, was born Nov. 2, 1888, at Tilden, Neb.
On June 26, 1907, at Neligh Neb., she married Newton Aubert. To them three daughters were born. Mr. and Mrs. Aubert moved to Fairbury in 1914. After her husband's death in 1928 she continued to make a good home for her young daughters at 925 Ash street, Fairbury.
Five years ago Mrs. Aubert moved to Lincoln to reside with her daughter, Eunice.
Surviving are her three daughters, Miss Eunice Aubert of Lincoln, Thelma, Mrs. James Stych of Clay Center, Neb., and Eileen, Mrs. Dale Robinson of Fairbury; five grandsons, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Sunday afternoon at the Laipply-Meyer chapel with Rev. Homer Dickerson, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Pall-bearers were Fred Vinsonhaler, Alvin Junker, Theodore Ackman, A. J. Friesen, Louis Weber and Walter Minnick. Burial was in the Fairbury cemetery.
