Janice (Jan) Stark, 56, of W1349 County Trunk HH, Brownsville, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 18, 1946, in Medord, the daughter of Joseph and Doris Gowey Tomczyk.
On Feb. 10, 1968, she married Jerry Stark in Stensonville.
She was a graduate of Medford High School and attended Vocational Technical School in Fond du Lac for licensed practical nursing. Jan worked for 35 years at St Agnes Hospital.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, taking trips, bowling and weekends in Wabeno.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; two children, Jennifer (Tom) Borges of Campbellsport and Joseph Stark of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Samantha, Thomas, Savannah and Christian (Thumper); four sisters, Kathleen (Pete) Lapp of Dorchester, Darlene (David) Heier of Medford, Dorothy (Gary) Pagel of Abbotsford, and Beth (Kim) Westrich of Medford; and two brothers, Glen (Irene) Tomczyk of Wind Lake and Walter (Callie) Tomczyk of Dorchester.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Norbert and Victor; and an infant sister, MarJean.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira, with the Rev. Kevin Kowalske officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemtery.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, is assisting the family.
